Hello NorthStar, I am not sure if there is a way for you to exit the canyon without going up the stairs on the exiting steel platform. You should contact one of the tour groups to ask about possible ramp exits. The steps weren't excessively high but I am not sure how difficult they would be for you. We purchased our tickets from Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours. The guide we had was very helpful.

I agree with the previous responder, the jeep is rough, but you can also ask to sit in the front with the guide for a better/safer transport experience! Best to contact them directly to inquire.
