The club was originally founded in 1957, at that time as a cricket club. Over the years it has grown both in stature and popularity to what it is today. The club has become well known as a venue to host private parties and is one of the County’s best known wedding and party venues. It boasts a large air conditioned function room which can cater for up to 250 people and a smaller function room to suit up to 50 people, which has multimedia facilities to enable corporate usage including seminars, meetings and training sessions etc. The club has a vibrant membership, where hundreds of members benefit from live entertainment every week.
