This stunning headland, with its iconic lighthouse and Napoleonic Fort, is surrounded by water on three sides and offers exceptional views across Torbay and beyond. You can enjoy some superb coastal walks, spot wildlife on land and at sea, or simply relax in the award-winning Guardhouse Café. Our Visitor Centre will tell you all about the Reserve, its history, wildlife and the work of Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust. Do check for opening times during off peak season.

Yes you would be able to but it’s hilly!

Hi there, apologies for the slow response. The toilets remain closed at the moment but the Guardhouse cafe is open. Hope this is helpful. Kind regards Sarah

Drive direct to the Berry Head Nature Reserve Carpark. Machine electronically reads your number plate. Then set off around the reserve. Alternatively, park at the breakwater long stay car park and walk towards Berry Head.

Tricia. It's mainly flat except for the two fort battlement areas. Car parking is£10 daily or around £5 for 4 hours. Regards Ian.

Is park open all year around? I am visiting first week in October Thank you.

Yes the park is open but the visitor centre is on winter hours so only open Saturday and Sunday, the cafe is open everyday.
