There's no scheduling of a tour. The lighthouse is Coast Guard operated, so everything is going on according to their schedule. But, it's totally worth it! BTW, if you want to se easier accessible lighthouse, try Highland Light in Truro, MA. You can go in every day, restrictions are very little and guide is very knowledgeable.
