It was fun to see the library; however, most of the books are of the shelves due to preservation processes. It was also expensive and the remainder of the museum was not very interesting.Full review by Nicole H

Visiting the library long room has been a bucket list item for decades. After purchasing the Book of Kehls and Long Room ticket on the Trinity website you are presented with information about the restoration projects with videos of decanting the library. I am going to see an old library full of old books not empty shelves. Can anyone who has visited in March describe the state of the decanting? Do you think there will be any books will be on the shelves by early June 2023? I may cancel the visit. Appreciate your help.

For anyone planning on visiting the Old Library: The Old Library will close in October 2023 for three years (restoration).
