It's very long beach so you can walk down until you find a spot that suits you, has a lovely sunset. Popular with locals without being overcrowded, plenty of bars and restaurants lining the road behind the beach. There is shade under trees behind the beach. It seemed clean to me and plenty of areas you can go in the sea. I thought it was a very nice beach.

Weather looks at the moment like its going to be very wet! can anybody let me know what they think and if they think its worth cancelling? i have read a few reviews that say rain is over quite quickly.. is this true? thanks!

It is awesome We stayed next door to Sugar Beach. The rain really doesn't spoil the trip. It is awesome and we loved it even when it rained :) ENJOY
