We enjoyed this far more than we anticipated! Easy to get to on the metro, and the views on the ride up are incredible. We used our Oslo passes to go in the museum and up to the top of the ski jump. …Full review by GemZ77

We visited as part of a coach tour in winter. It was spectacular to see, but we would not have wanted to stay for more than 2 hours. It was -8C when we visited and unless you have the right clothes, it does not take long before the cold gets through your boots. The weather will be totally different in July. Unless you are actually going to take part in activities or enjoy long walks, i think 2 hours would be quite sufficient. I hope this helps.
