Old Place Creek Park is a natural preserve which lies to the south of the Old Place Creek Tidal Wetlands Area, a 70-acre tidal and wetland habitat managed by New York State. The section of the natural area closest to 5th Street is managed by New York City as undeveloped wilderness.
