Hi Brenda..there is an area to meet the shuttle (additional cost) about 20M past the ticket presentation. It is well marked. There is still uphill walking after the shuttle drops you near the palace.

We used the tourist bus from the railway station that loops around in the same direction, stopping at the Castle of the Moors, before Pena Palace. The road traffic was extremely heavy/busy.
AdAvoid waiting in long queues and book skip the line tickets to Sintra PenaPalace & Park. Book PenaPalace tickets at best prices, a must visit attraction in Sintra. Limited slots.
