There are two bathhouses located in the camping area and one is near the tent camping area. They were probably about the cleanest bath houses in any of the SC state parks. The only primitive camping area I am aware of is the group site but there is a bath house there, although I am not sure of the facilities.
Do you have to wait until they open to go fishing. If you're not camping there?

I don't believe so. I think it's open to the public for whenever. However the office does close at some point and time, and they do lock the bathrooms too, but idr what time that is.
