I suggest you re-check your question, as you mention a hotel and this post was about the Regent's canal (in London) and NOT a hotel. We stayed at the Danubius Regent's Park hotel, which is 15-20 minutes walk from Baker Street underground station and is 5-7 minutes walking from St. John's wood underground station and near the No. 13 bus to Oxford street etc.
