As long as you want it to be as you can stay on the train and do more than one trip using your ticket. You need to check their timetable on line. The train will start and finish at East Tanfield

I would suggest you look at their website and view "events," which has a sub section for afternoon teas. You will find all the train times, throughout the year and it also gives details of the various stations.
