Visited on New Year's Eve so expected both parks to be busy - which they were. We had a fabulous time but were disappointed and rather surprised at the number of rides that just stopped working, eit… Full review by spidernz2017

As part of our 50th birthday tour we spent 2 days in Disneyland. We had been previously before Galaxy's Edge was opened. This was the reason for our return visit and also to enjoy some of the rides… Full review by MarkL737

We went there at 5am so we could avoid traffic and it kind of worked, most of the rides are more baby friendly in the park rather than the adventure. I would recommend getting lighting pass and if yo… Full review by Norah K

If you are someone who visits infrequently — like every other year or less — and attractions are a priority for you, then I say yes. If you do your YouTube research and learn to work the LLMP system, it’s great.
Is there an expert to help create your visit and optimize your time and money?

There are a few ways to achieve assistance with navigating your visit that might save you some money, (I'll add a few), however, I have found that booking everything needed yourself to create your vacation saves more money than you think. I found that booking (for instance) the Best Western Hotel LuLu (7-minute walk to the Disneyland/DCA gate is cheaper than the "advertised" hotels. Booking airlines yourself will save about $20 per ticket. Instead of renting a car (unless you're going to site-see the area), using LYFT or Uber is a huge way to save money and usually they offer 50% off your first three reservations. Disneyland website, (create an account) is a MUST-have app that will allow you to review rides, book reservations at Disney (on site), and restaurants, and purchase annual pass/key tickets as well as other (day only, non-park-hopper, etc) tickets. Another money saving trick, that I do for my trips to Disneyland is to purchase water, soda, snacks, etc through the Walmart app and have the items delivered to the hotel you're staying at. Huge money saver!!! When you have time, search Disneyland vacation help on YouTube and you'll find quite a bit of information. MickeyVisit (online) AllEars (YouTube channel) The Magical RN (Instagram) I'm no professional. Just a Grammy to 14 grandchildren who love Disney like I do! Once a DisNerd, always a DisNerd!

It does. You can buy a ticket to the park for X price or for more you can get what is called a Hopper Pass and at 1PM you can go to the other park. There are two. Disneyland Park and California Adventure. They are right next to each other. You can also buy tickets for more than one day. The more days in a row you buy the less the ticket. But however you go, your ticket pays for all rides in the park that you picked.

Hi Isa, that's a great question! A guy named SoCalDisneyDad has a great youtube video on this exact subject for more info. I think the biggest difference is size. Walt disney world is huge compared to Disneyland. I can walk (roll actually) between the two parks in about 3 minutes. I can access rides and shows and restaurants seamlessly between disney and DCA. Anaheim has ART, which is a very good transportation system for the area. In orlando you are likely to be inside the disney complex using their transportation-also very good but I think it's slower. Another difference is the weather. Both are hot and have high UV indexes-sunscreen and protection is a must!! But california is dry and florida is very humid. I prefer the dry weather, less rain and most importantly NO disease bearing mosquitos. When I do go to Florida I am extremely cautious about this due to the increasing health hazards. Both places have other parks you can enjoy such as universal, and Knotts berry farm is very close to Disneyland. I think EPCOT is the one thing that is better in florida. If I was to compare disney world to disneyland, I like the rides better at Disneyland. They have some of the OG 1955 rides that Walt designed himself. Disneyland is very disability friendly-the friendliest place I've ever been for a wheelchair customer, but the DAS pass service is available at both parks. I hope this helps. If you want more specific details or answers please don't hesitate to ask. I'm kind of into Disney!! aloha, take care and have so much fun!!
