Hi, we’re a family of 5(us married couple+2seniors+1child) would like to know if there is any tours(no bikes tours as my parents are old) around ko klang island to take perhaps a tuk2?? around as I’ve read that it’s worth a trip here, before finishing off with a meal at the restaurant with the fish farm. Can anyone advise? Thanks and very much appreciate your inputs!

Hi there :) If you literally take the family to the pier and get a long boat to Ko Lang there are a couple of locals there ready and waiting to take Tourists round on a tuk tuk. It will take between one and two hours and they will take you to all the main features of the island such as the workshop where the ladies colours dye and where a man builds model boats. It’s a great trip for all ages as the kids will get to try out the material dying etc. Your parents will be fine also as you’re on the tuk tuk to get around. No need to book anything as there’s nothing formal, this is more an off the beaten track, find t by luck kind of thing where you’re shown round by the locals rather than go on a scheduled tour. Enjoy!!?

Q:
When is the best time to visit? Can I park my car near the pier before taking a boat there?
A:
Yes there is parking at the pier. We went at about mid day and it took about 10 mins to get from the pier to Ko Klang. We were on the island for just under 2 hours.
