New York Mets Francisco Lindor and Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora had breakfast together and joked about Cora getting ejected with Walker Buehler.

Manager Alex Cora removed ace Garrett Crochet with one out in the sixth inning and the Red Sox trailing 1-0 to the Mets on Wednesday. The lefty had thrown only 85 pitches. Why the early hook? Cora said it was a predetermined shorter outing for Crochet who leads the majors in innings (68 ⅓ innings).

Red Sox pitcher Walker Buehler was ejected in the third inning against the New York Mets on Tuesday night and manager Alex Cora followed soon after.
