President of basketball operations Lawrence Frank credits the star guard for selling the Clippers in a 30-minute phone call with Beal’s agent.

Clippers president Lawrence Frank revealed the effort Harden put in to recruit Beal to the Clippers after Beal negotiated his buyout with the Phoenix Suns. Harden even got on the phone with Beal’s agent Mark Bartelstein to explain how Beal would thrive in the Clippers’ system.

LA is set to bring in three-time All-Star Bradley Beal, who spent the past two seasons with the Suns. Beal and the Suns reached a buyout agreement on Wednesday, July 16, paving the way for the Clippers to sign Beal on a two-year deal worth $11 million, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
