The Connecticut Airport Authority announced on Wednesday that JetBlue will launch nonstop flights between Bradley International Airport (BDL) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

WINDSOR, Conn. (WFSB) - Avelo airlines is planning to suspend several flights from Bradley International Airport. By the end of March you won’t be able to fly between Hartford and Charlotte. According to the airline, it also suspended flights between Bradley and Lakeland, Florida, as well as Houston, Texas.

JetBlue is launching a new flight out of Bradley International Airport just north of Hartford to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City.

Flights from the airport in Windsor Locks to John F. Kennedy International Airport will begin on April 30. They will operate daily, year-round.

Avelo launched its Hartford to Charlotte, N.C. route in November but will suspend the route at the end of March, Avelo confirmed to FOX61 by email Wednesday morning.
