CBS has canceled “Poppa’s House” and “The Summit” after one season each. Neither the sitcom from Damon Wayans Sr. and Jr., nor the mountainous competition series will return on the network’s schedule next season.

"Working beside you has been one of the greatest joys," Wayans said of his son, while sending off their short-lived sitcom.

Poppa’s House, the comedy series starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr., has been cancelled at CBS after one season. According to Deadline, the show performed well enough for a full series order with five additional episodes.

CBS has given a series order to a new show set in the FBI universe that will star Lucifer alum Tom Ellis as a "fast-talking, rule-breaking" CIA case officer, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed. It's slated to air during the 2025-2026 broadcast season.
