Paige Bueckers is still one of the top candidates to win WNBA Rookie of the Year. Former UConn teammate Azzi Fudd highlighted what she thinks are some of Bueckers' overlooked skills while in attendance for the Wings' game against the Atlanta Dream on Saturday.

Fresh off a national title run with the UConn Huskies, Azzi Fudd sat courtside on May 24 at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta as her former teammate, Paige Bueckers, took the floor for the Dallas Wings.

Since capturing the 2025 NCAA women's basketball championship, Azzi Fudd has been everywhere, landing major deals and staying firmly in the spotlight. Fudd has also remained a loyal supporter of her former UConn teammate and close friend,

Bueckers and the Dallas Wings fell short in Saturday's 83-75 loss to the Atlanta Dream at Gateway Center Arena and dropped to 0-4 in the process. Atlanta improved to 2-2 thanks to strong showings from Allisha Gray, Brionna Jones and Brittney Griner.

Paige Bueckers, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, continued her steady start with 11 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals in the loss.
