The New York Mets and free-agent outfielder Jesse Winker have reached an agreement to reunite. Winker will make $7.5 million with the chance to reach $9 million with bonuses, according to the New York Post.

A person familiar with the negotiations tells The Associated Press that outfielder Jesse Winker and the Mets have agreed to a one-year contract, perhaps decreasing the chance first baseman Pete Alonso will remain with New York.

Jesse Winker, who hit a combined .253 with 14 homers and 58 RBIs for the Mets and the Nationals in 2024, has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Mets.
