Trey Kaufman-Renn had 22 points and 15 rebounds, and Purdue used a fast start to roll to a 76-62 win over McNeese in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

McNeese student manager Amir Khan watched his No. 12 Cowboys take on No. 4 Purdue with one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. Oscar-winning auteur Spike Lee, a St. John's fan, sat next to Khan during the first half of Saturday's Round of 32 game in Providence, which is such a cool meeting of two icons.

Khan, who is listed on McNeese's online directory as Amir "Aura" Khan, led McNeese onto the floor in Providence with his big boombox around his shoulders, and the rest was history. The two teams traded blows in the opening minutes and in the closing minutes but it was all McNeese in between.
