DOVER − The NASCAR Cup Series race at AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover Motor Speedway was delayed by rain with 14 laps remaining on July 20. The delay lasted 56 minutes as a storm moved quickly through the area. NASCAR officials set a drop-dead time of 8:10 p.m. because Dover doesn't have lights at the racetrack.

Rain was a constant threat at Dover, but it didn't stop the Cup Series from delivering 400 laps (and two overtimes) worth of action at the concrete monster

With a 20th-place finish, Dillon -- the No. 32 and final seed in the In-Season Challenge -- advanced to the final round of the tournament, where he will race Gibbs (who won his matchup against Tyler Reddick) for a $1 million prize in next weekend's Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis.
