The House of Guitars in Irondequoit reflected on the life and legacy of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne following his death. Known as the “Prince of Darkness,” Osbourne rose to fame in the 1970s as the lead singer of Black Sabbath.
"They were just totally in love and devoted to each other, and that wasn't for the cameras. That was just who they were."
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has died at 76, several news outlets in the U.K. are reporting. The English singer, songwriter and TV personality was well known for his influence on heavy metal music that he made with Black Sabbath throughout the 70s.
Legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne has joined heaven's hall of fame after a years-long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Osbourne pioneered heavy metal with Black Sabbath before going on to have huge success in his own right. He was known for hits including Iron Man, Paranoid, War Pigs, Crazy Train and Changes, both with the band and as a solo star.
