According to the Rhode Island Lottery, Powerball ticket sales decreased from 7,830,545 in FY 24 to 4,157,629 in FY 25. The drop-off in revenue totals roughly $17.8 million. Mega Millions saw a decline in sales of roughly 22%, according to RI Lottery.

Saturday's drawing offers the largest lottery prize this weekend in Ohio, with Mega Millions at $80 million and Classic Lotto at $5.1 million.

A pair of winning Powerball tickets worth $1 million each were sold in Massachusetts for Wednesday night's drawing.
