One day after hitting back at The View over Joy Behar's claim that Donald Trump was jealous of Barack Obama's looks, the White House has again taken aim at a Hollywood institution in a statement to Entertainment Weekly criticizing South Park 's satirical depiction of the president seducing Satan in bed.
In the premiere episode, “60 Minutes” covers the presence of Jesus in South Park’s schools. The co-anchors anxiously describe Trump as “a great man” who is “probably watching,” a clear nod to Paramount settling Trump’s lawsuit against “60 Minutes.”
If operating under the shallow assumption that "South Park" is a show that exists to mock woke culture, Cartman’s despair could be seen as a meta-commentary.
Their Comic-Con panel took place the day after the controversial 'South Park' season 27 premiere earned the ire of President Donald Trump and showed a version of him lying naked in bed with Satan.
