U.S. stocks are falling toward their worst loss since Election Day as the big bump Wall Street got from last week’s victory for Donald Trump and cut to interest rates by the Federal Reserve keeps fading.

Major averages on Friday opened lower as Wall Street is headed for a weekly loss after a massive advance fueled by Donald Trump's election win. Early on and the S&P 500 (SP500) was -1.1%, the Nasdaq Composite (COMP:IND) was -1.

The stock market broadly has been rising faster than corporate profits, which raises the volume on criticism from skeptics that it’s gotten too expensive. The S&P 500 is still up nearly 25% for the year so far, on top of last year’s leap of 24.2%.
