According to Mark Gurman in the Power On newsletter this weekend, we may see at least two devices with Apple’s upcoming M5 chip before the end of the year. Gurman reports that the M5 iPad Pro has reached the late stages of testing,

Alongside the iPad Pro, Apple is also planning to release new MacBook Pro models with the M5 chip later in 2025. The upcoming MacBook Pro will get an OLED display, offering higher brightness, better contrast, and richer colors.

A new MacBook Pro sporting an M5 chip is expected to arrive in the fall of 2025, but a case redesign will have to wait.
