A 6-speed manual was available in later (96 - 99) M3 versions. The BMW E36 was made in 4 door saloon, coupe, 2 door convertible, 5 door estate, & 3 door hatchback version.

The next BMW M3 will toss it’s naturally aspirated V8 ... convertible and wagon will continue on and BMW will add a Gran Turismo hatchback model, much like with the current 5 Series.
