Prince William tried being a camera operator during a visit to a London film academy for school-age students on Wednesday.

Prince William took a turn operating a camera on a dolly as he joined the film set at the London Screen Academy. The prince, President of BAFTA, took a tour of the specialist sixth form college in Islington, North London, on Wednesday where 900 students learn every aspect of film and television production.

It was not a reporter's fever dream, but a movie scene on the roof of the London Screen Academy in north London, where Prince William is test-driving the state of the art facilities in a sixth form academy dedicated to teaching film and TV skills.
