On Thursday, Nintendo announced a host of Super Mario games and re-released. Alongside Super Mario 3D World’s Nintendo Switch debut, Nintendo will also launch Cat Mario and Cat Peach amiibo.

Cat Mario can scratch, slide, pounce, and even climb flagpoles in the 3D World game style included with Super Mario Maker 2.

New and previous Amiibo will feature functionality in the Bowser's Fury content for Super Mario 3D World's Nintendo Switch release.

Mario + cat. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch (see it on Amazon).

Rather, Bowser's Fury is taking direct inspiration from it's partnered release, Super Mario 3D World, which introduced the series to Cat Mario via the Super Bell powerup.
