The city of Charlotte’s Landscape Management hosted a tour of Queen City’s 100-year-old canopy on Saturday morning.

Charlotte is the original Queen City named in honor of queen Charlotte Sophia of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, wife of Britain’s King George III, during the time of the city's founding in 1768.
