DS4Windows works by reading your DualShock 4 as though it were an Xbox 360 controller. That means you won't get the correct Square/X/Triangle/Circle button icons by default in most games.

The buttons can be anything you want them to be, within the constraints of a Dualshock 4's control scheme ... back button until you see the button icon you want to map highlighted.
