Drop boxes are now open for voters to drop mail-in ballots for the Ward 8 special election. Voters can utilize the drop boxes through 8 p.m. on Election Day, which is July 15.

The election bureau bought the Runbeck drop box for $12,500 in March as part of a pilot program and would have received a refund if the board didn’t vote to approve the use of the drop box.
