LATROBE, Pa. -- The Pittsburgh Steelers made a notable signing ahead of the team's second training camp practice. Pittsburgh signed Chuck Clark, a veteran safety who spent the previous two seasons with the New York Jets after starting his career with the Baltimore Ravens .
Former P ittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields is back on the field just one day after suffering a dislocated toe. After the initial diagnosis, head coach Aaron Glenn said it was unclear how long Fields would be out, but it appears the injury was minor enough that the team did not have to worry.
Clark began his NFL career on the Ravens for the first six seasons, which happen to be the Steelers' AFC North archrival. He didn't play in the 2023 season after he tore his ACL. Then, in 2024, Clark played for the Jets with now-Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
