NORWALK, CT. (WFSB) - 22 people were displaced after a house fire in Norwalk Tuesday afternoon. Officials say that it happened in the area of Lexington Avenue inside a multi-family home.

More than 20 people were displaced after a fire damaged a multi-family home in Norwalk on Tuesday, April 29. The fire began at a three-story home at 30 Lexington Ave. just after 2:30 p.m.

More than 40 firefighters responded to the multifamily residential structure at 30 Lexington Ave. Norwalk's deputy fire chief says the fire broke out Tuesday afternoon mostly on the third floor.
