A SpaceX Starlink satellite is tumbling and falling out of space after partial breakup in orbit
On December 17, Starlink experienced an anomaly on satellite 35956, resulting in loss of communications with the vehicle at 418 km. The anomaly led to venting of the propulsion tank, a rapid decay in semi-major axis by about 4 km, and the release of a small number of trackable… December 18, 2025

Elon Musk’s NASA chief ally says SpaceX rival Blue Origin might be picked for US lunar project Artemis
NASA’s new boss Jared Isaacman walked into the job on Thursday and wasted no time shaking both SpaceX and Blue Origin, saying the agency will choose the company that builds a working moon lander first.
NASA plans to test SpaceX’s Starshield satellite network, designed primarily for national security users, to support operations of the Deep Space Network.
Nasa’s new administrator, Jared Isaacman, said the agency will pick whichever company builds its moon lander the fastest — whether that be Elon Musk’s SpaceX or Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin — to put humans on the lunar surface for the first time in more than 50 years.

New NASA Director Taking Over Agency in Crisis
Private space tourist and billionaire pilot Jared Isaacman has officially been confirmed as NASA administrator.
Flying edge-on, the satellite’s pancake shape will minimize aerodynamic drag as the DiskSats encounter thicker air below 250 miles. Continual pulsing from the satellites’ electric thrusters will allow the DiskSats to maintain altitude as they glide through the uppermost layers of the atmosphere.
