Johnson, 28, signed a one-year deal with Jacksonville earlier this year after spending part of the 2022 season and then all of 2023 and 2024 with the Eagles, including starting six games last year. Prior to that, he played part of the 2022 season wth the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and 2019-21 with the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles added tackle Fred Johnson as part of a swap with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Philadelphia sent Jacksonville a 2026 seventh-round draft pick in return. Philadelphia is also sending offensive tackle Darian Kinnard to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick, per Schefter.

The Green Bay Packers announced a pre-roster cutdown trade and released a wide receiver in a corresponding roster move. On Monday, the team officially acquired offensive lineman Darian Kinnard from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round draft pick.
