The San Francisco 49ers have been mentioned a lot in the rumor mill when it comes to quarterback Brock Purdy. Throughout the course of the offseason, the two sides have been working on a potential contract extension.

When the San Fransisco 49ers looked to pay quarterback Brock Purdy, it took some serious sacrifice from team owner Jed York. After Purdy was underpaid in his rookie deal, it is a matter of time before he gets a lucrative deal.

Of course, in a year's time, quarterback prices have continued to rise. Purdy would have to want more than $60 million per year to do that. The 49ers brass will speak this week at the league owner meetings and potentially provide a better picture.
