After more than 9 inches of snow fell in Philadelphia on Sunday, the region will need some time to get back to normal. Post-snowstorm, SEPTA plans a gradual Monday service resumption, while NJ Transit aims for a normal weekday schedule with potential delays.
Lines that stayed running Sunday, including the Market‑Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, Suburban Trolleys and the Norristown High Speed Line, will still see delays, cancellations and longer travel times Monday. Morning express trains on SEPTA's Regional Rail will resume Monday, Jan. 12, after months of delays and commuter frustrations.
