The New York Yankees have done plenty of heavy lifting in the offseason, but MLB insider Brendan Kuty revealed the priority for the team.

Training nears, the New York Yankees’ front office, led by general manager Brian Cashman, has made it clear that their most pressing offseason priority is addressing the team’s lack of left-handed depth in the bullpen.

An announcement accompanied the posts: the Bombers’ pitchers and catcher will report to their Tampa, Florida, spring training home on Feb. 11. Aaron Boone will hold his first media availability of the spring at 1 p.m. that day before the Yankees’ pitchers and catchers participate in their first official workout on Feb. 12.
