The renowned destination in Tampa's downtown area came just behind the No. 1-ranked Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

The non-profit organization, Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk, has helped the Riverwalk become a must-see attraction. This Friday and Saturday, they host their signature event of the year, Riverfest.

Tampa's Riverwalk was named one of the best riverwalks in the US, according to a USA Today readers' choice poll.

If you have extra time, Tampa Riverwalk is worthwhile. The Tampa Riverwalk is an approximately 2.5-mile-long paved scenic trail that runs along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa.

Busch Garden Tampa, and even the Tarpon Springs Florida Sponge Docks to explore the charming town and eat Greek food. However, we spent most of our time in the city, near the Riverwalk.
