Weather maps show snow in the Pennines, Midlands, along the English-Welsh border and around Greater London in a few days' time.

Parts of Britain are likely to be hammered by a 458-mile snow bomb as the weather maps turn white and purple for areas from Cornwall to Yorkshire. Northwest Scotland is also forecasted to get snow.
