Rounds 1-3 of the draft were conducted Sunday night in Atlanta. Rounds 4-20 began at 10:30 a.m. CT Monday, and the draft may be viewed at MLB.com.

The Braves focused heavily on pitching and NCAA Division I talent, selecting 13 pitchers and 15 players from Division I programs out of 21 total picks.

Though there are 20 rounds in the MLB draft, Basic Academy shortstop Tate Southisene didn’t have to wait long to hear his name called at 22nd overall by the Atlanta Braves.

The Braves made a few roster moves on Sunday, adding Davis Daniel (who did decent in his spot start on Sunday) and veteran Wander Suero to the MLB squad. Daysbel Hernandez was sent to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
