The DG ISPR commended the Pakistan Army, Special Services Group, Law Enforcement Agencies and FC for conducting the operation with utmost precision and caution. He mentioned that not a single causality happened during the conduct of the operation. He said some passengers were martyred before the launch of the operation by the security forces.

Pak foreign office had claimed that BLA rebels involved in attack on Jaffar Express were in contact with ring leaders in Afghanistan.

More than 400 people were on the Jaffar Express on Tuesday when militants fired on the train and blew up the track in the Balochistan region, Pakistani security officials said.
