T he Detroit Tigers mascot opened up some old wounds for Seattle sports fans on Saturday afternoon, as he took a savage shot at the Seattle Seahawks and one of their Super Bowl losses.

Game 2 of the Tigers' series against the Seattle Mariners at Comerica Park on Saturday, July 12 was hit with a rain delay before the game even started, something the Tigers have gotten used to this summer. The Tigers announced the rain delay on social media at 12:30 p.m., 40 minutes before the scheduled first pitch.

Cal Raleigh hit his 37th and 38th home runs to move within one of Barry Bonds' 2001 record for homers before the All-Star break, and the Seattle Mariners beat Detroit 12-3 on Friday night to end Tarik Skubal's three-month unbeaten streak.
