Basketball athlete Stephen Curry and rapper Drake shared a warm moment before the Warriors vs. Raptors game in Toronto.

Accompanied by his son Adonis and Toronto rapper Top5, Drake was his usual animated self on the sideline. From vocal exchanges with referees to bear-hugging Raptors player Chris Boucher after the game, Drake ensured the cameras caught his every move. But it was his interaction with Curry during pregame warm-ups that really stood out.

Drake was making the most of his time on courtside at the Raptors recent game in Toronto and as a result, it’s hard to ignore his interactions with Warriors franchise player Steph Curry.

Under normal circumstances, a rapper sitting courtside at a basketball game and being greeted by an NBA player isn’t a major headline. However, given all that took place between Kendrick Lamar and Drake last year, Steph Curry embracing the Toronto superstar warrants layers of discourse.
