Production on Season 3 of Euphoria is officially underway. The show shared an image on social media Monday morning announcing the start.

The main cast of “Euphoria” includes Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane. Angus Cloud, who broke out in his role as Fezco, died at age 25 in July 2023.

HBO says production has begun on the drama series and shared a first photo from the season, with Zendaya’s Rue looking over her shoulder in a dimly lit room. HBO EVP and Head of Drama Francesca Orsi shared that there have been discussions about ending Euphoria with the upcoming third season.

On Monday, HBO shared a first look image of Zendaya as Rue in the highly anticipated third season of the hit show. "#Euphoria Season 3 is in production," Max captioned the post.

Series creator Sam Levinson previously described the new season as a "film noir." HBO has at long last dropped a first look at season 3 of Euphoria, three years after the celebrated teen drama was renewed.
