What’s Really Behind the Sheer Dress Ban at the Cannes Film Festival?
A new dress code is in place for this year’s festival, one which targets the current vogue for sheer or “naked” dresses. According to a document published on the official website, nudity is explicitly prohibited on the red carpet, as well as in any other area of the festival, for “decency reasons.”
