The City of Gadsden will get $6.5 million in federal funding for the planning, design, and preconstruction phases of a project to relocate a portion of Highway 411 further from the Coosa River.
The Gadsden City Council recently took a tangible step toward Mayor Craig Ford's goal of relocating U.S. Highway 411 (Albert Rains Boulevard) to create a pedestrian green space along the Coosa River.
