Red Sox pitchers and catchers have their first workout two weeks from today, so it's time to take a first crack at projecting the 26-man Opening Day roster.

Roman Anthony, 20, a left-handed hitter who is baseball's No. 2 prospect according to Baseball America and the MLB Pipeline and played in both Double-A and Triple-A last season, was among nine non-roster invitees Tuesday to Boston Red Sox spring training.

The Red Sox have five bullpen jobs mostly sewn up, but there will be competition for the remaining seven or eight spots.
